chasing the light
wings a bit wet
still good for flight
not far away
a meter or two
rain drops will fall
just make it through
almost there
rain falling fast
it's worth it for sure
no way this will last
and yet
it rains and it rains
the light becomes dim
more clouds moving in
the chances are slim
almost there
saturation
was there ever a light ?
pinned to the ground
drops on the pavement
making no sound
the light's coming back
it's already here
no winged flight required
no rain drops to fear
